We developed the patented X-Y cantilever, integrating the derrick and drillfloor to the cantilever. The complete cantilever will skid in longitudinal and transverse direction.

The X-Y cantilever enhances both drilling efficiency and capacity:

- Drilling efficiency as drillfloor and cantilever are integrated
- Capacity as the combined hook load is constant over the hull footprint

We deliver the X-Y skidding systems on a turnkey basis. The X-Y cantilever is installed as standard on the latest CJ series of drilling jack-ups, starting with the Maersk Innovator.
